Radoslav Mehandzhiyski

Art Historian, Curator

Radoslav Mehandzhiyski was born and lives in Sofia. Graduated from “Art Studies” at New Bulgarian University (2016). He also completed two-semester courses in Chinese language and culture at Tianjin Normal University (2011-2009). His interests are related to art management, curatorial activity, art market, developing new audiences for contemporary art through innovative teaching methods.

Radoslav Mekhandzhiyski is one of the creators of the independent educational platform for contemporary art and culture “Art & Culture Today”, aimed at researching the most significant phenomena from the world of contemporary art and culture, organizing and holding events and exhibitions, curatorial activity, as well and engaging new audiences in this segment of cultural life (launched in 2016). Co-creator of the multidisciplinary forum “WIDE ART” (launched in 2023) and the international art residency “IMAGO International Artist Residency” (launched in 2019).

In 2021 and 2022 he is part of the jury of the prestigious BAZA award for young contemporary artists.
