Victoria Gyuleva

Victoria Gyuleva is a curator based between Sofia and London. She is part of the Contemporary Art department at Sofia City Art Gallery and works with the teams behind the Balkan Contemporary Art Prize and L.I.N.K. Gallery, a new contemporary art space in Sofia. She holds a BA in History of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art and an MA in Curating Contemporary Art from the Royal College of Art. Alongside her curatorial work, she translates art historical texts, essays, and criticism between Bulgarian and English. Her interests lie in interdisciplinary exhibition-making and in the language of the contemporary art world: how narrative and world-building shape the way exhibitions are written, spoken about, and read.
