Sofia Art Fair 2025: IMAGINE opens today
Today, Sofia becomes a hub for contemporary art with the official opening of the second edition of the Sofia Art Fair—the only international contemporary art fair in Bulgaria, organized by the Sofia Breathes Foundation. Under the motto “IMAGINE,” the fair will gather participants from 13 countries, transforming the capital into a place for international cultural dialogue.
The event will be held by the Mayor of Sofia, Mr. Vasil Terziev.
At the festive opening this evening, attendees will be introduced to all participants, including galleries, artists, curators, and speakers in the SAF Talks 2025 program. The audience will also learn about the initiative “Imagine More,” which highlights special features in the accompanying program of Sofia Art Fair 2025. These include the curatorial project “Expanded Perspectives,” initiated by the platform Art and Culture Today; the “Artists in Focus” program, which provides a dedicated space for sculptural, object-based, and installation works that encourage dialogue and add a new dimension to the fair; the Creative Kids Zone and many other events.
From October 3 to 5, the fair will welcome visitors and ticket holders from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the John Atanasoff Innovation Forum in Sofia Tech Park. Tickets can be purchased at sofiaartfair.art/tickets. Admission is free for individuals under 18 and for people with disabilities.
