MISSIA

MISSIA is a contemporary art gallery based in Bulgaria, founded in 2025.

Within its first year, the gallery has established a clear curatorial direction focused on supporting and promoting Bulgarian artists working across both fine and applied arts.

MISSIA operates as a platform for artistic development, visibility and dialogue. The gallery is committed to identifying and nurturing artists with a strong visual language, while creating opportunities for them to reach wider audiences, both locally and internationally.

GALLERY STATEMENT
At MISSIA, we believe that the contemporary Bulgarian art scene holds a unique and underrepresented voice within the global context.

Our mission is to support Bulgarian artists by providing not only exhibition space, but also curatorial guidance, professional development and strategic visibility. We work closely with each artist to refine their artistic identity and position their work within a broader cultural and market framework.

We are particularly interested in the intersection between fine and applied arts - where traditional techniques, craftsmanship, and contemporary ideas meet.
