Over the past decade, many of you may not know us as Gallery +359 and Gallery Charter, as well as through our spaces in Istanbul and Limnos. Together, shared exhibitions, participation in international art fairs, meetings with artists and countless conversations dedicated to contemporary art.

Today, this journey continues under one common brand.

Collect Gallery unites our spaces, projects and initiatives dedicated to contemporary art and the culture of collecting.

With permanent spaces and long-term projects in Sofia, Istanbul and Limnos, as well as through publications, site-specific installations and international collaborations, with the aim of building sustainable connections between artists, works, collectors and communities.

Because art lives fully when it is collected, maintained and shared.

Georgi Ruzhev is a media artist. A photographer and color reader by profession, in his work he seeks color provocation and spectacle that affects all the senses. He presents his projects in a series of performances above and below the level of the visible, as a small element of the whole illusion of infinity. His works include installation, performance, original music, animation, including 3D, 16mm films, holograms, large-format prints and light design. He has directed his creative searches in the study of human relationships - including historical and religious ones. He likes to experiment with other authors. In collaboration from 1992 to the present, he has successively created the contemporary art groups "TOCXIC AUNTIE", "THE SOP OF THE STRIX BUBO", "SUBSCRIBE", "OVERMIX", "Sofia - Night Block", "OCTOBERON", "DUMMY Co. Group", "NEVER SLEEPER" and "The wolf effect". His artistic projects have been exhibited in art spaces such as: Yerbatan Saranicu, Istanbul, Turkey; Shugar Factory, Amsterdam, Netherlands; The Horse Hospital Gallery, London, UK; XXL Gallery, KA Gallery, Bulgaria and others. He participates in world art forums such as: 7th International Biennial of Media Arts “The Power of Tape”, Poland; Annual Exhibitions of Soros Center for the Arts, Sofia, Bulgaria; Beyond Belief Contemporary Art from East Central Europe – Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, USA; 3rd International Istanbul Biennial, Istanbul, Turkey; Karl Drerup Art Gallery, Plymouth State University “Works on paper from Bulgaria”, New Hampshire, USA; 2nd International Biennial of Photography and Visual Arts, Paris, France; “Art Today”, Budapest, Hungary, National Biennial of Photography, Sofia, Bulgaria and others.

Moataz Nasr (b. 1961, Alexandria, Egypt) is a self-taught artist who lives and works in Cairo. Originally trained in Economics, he chose to abandon his initial career path to fully dedicate himself to art, establishing his first studio in Old Cairo after leaving his hometown of Alexandria. Early local recognition, marked by numerous awards, led to his international breakthrough in 2001, when he received the Grand Prix at the 8th Cairo International Biennale, firmly establishing his position on the global contemporary art scene.

Nasr is widely regarded as one of the leading representatives of pan-Arab contemporary art. His work explores the complex cultural and geopolitical dynamics shaping the Islamic world and reflects broader social and emotional conditions across the African continent. A strong sense of belonging to his homeland and cultural context is central to his practice, as is his belief that art and life are inseparable. In 1998, together with artists of his generation, he founded the Townhouse Gallery in Cairo, the first independent exhibition space in the country's history, playing a crucial role in shaping Egypt's contemporary art scene.

In 2017, Nasr represented Egypt at the 57th Venice Biennale with the immersive installation The Mountain, featuring his original film of the same title. In 2021, the film received the Cannes AVIFF – Art Film Festival Award. His work has been presented in major international exhibitions, including the Islamic Arts Biennale, Jeddah (2023); Art Here 2024, Louvre Abu Dhabi (2024); In the Heat, Galleria Continua, Dubai (2022); Truc à Faire, Galleria Continua, Paris (2021); the 13th Havana Biennale (2020); FIAC Hors les Murs, Jardin des Tuileries, Paris (2019); the Yinchuan Biennale (2018); the International Contemporary Art Exhibition, Yerevan (2018); Senses of Time: Video and Film-based Arts of Africa, LACMA and Smithsonian National Museum of African Art, Washington, D.C. (2017); Metropolis. Afriques Capitales, La Villette, Paris (2017); Arab Contemporary Architecture, Culture, and Identity, Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Humlebæk (2014); and The Sea Is My Land, MAXXI, Rome (2013).

Among his most significant recent solo exhibitions are Bottle Neck, Galleria Continua, Dubai (2024); his participation with a major installation in the inaugural Islamic Arts Biennale, Jeddah (2023); Paradise Lost, Galleria Continua, San Gimignano (2019), curated by Simon Njami; and The Liminal Space, Castel del Monte, Andria (2019), curated by Achille Bonito Oliva. In 2018, he was invited to create a site-specific work for Abu Dhabi Art Beyond at the historic sites of Al Ain.

Through a multidisciplinary practice spanning sculpture, installation, film, and painting, Nasr continues to investigate themes of identity, spirituality, social transformation, and collective memory, giving form to the cultural tensions and human experiences that shape contemporary life across regions and borders.

NINA Kovacheva is a French-Bulgarian artist. Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, she lives and works in Paris, France.

She is an interdisciplinary artist. Her works cover the fields of photography, drawing, painting, objects, video and video installations. NINA focuses on comparing and contrasting different cultural models, looking for the points where they overlap and the hybrid forms this gives rise to.

Among the other prizes, NINA Kovacheva has been the annual UNESCO Prize for the Promotion of the Arts 2002.

Stella Vasileva (b. 1983) lives and works in Sofia. She graduated from the National Academy of Arts in Sofia with a degree in Mural Painting. She is the recipient of the Gaudenz B. Ruf Award (in the category for young artist, 2010). She was nominated for the BAZA Award for Contemporary Art (2013–2015), and has participated in various artist residencies, including: Roam-projects, Bulgarian-German residency program, Berlin (2022); Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris, France (2014); Krinzinger Projekte, Petőmihaifa, Hungary – Vienna (2012); KulturKontakt, Vienna, Austria (2012).

Her solo exhibitions include: Phase Boundary, curated by Boyana Dzhikova, Little Bird Place, Sofia (2026), Construction Time, Collect Gallery, Istanbul (2026); Verticality (and Other Spatial Orientation), curated by Boyana Dzhikova, +359 Gallery, Sofia (2024); [ Lait ], Via Art Space, Poligrafiya Ofis Tsentr, Sofia, curated by Martina Yordanova (2023); Lines of Deconstruction, Roam Space, Berlin (2022); Transposition, Posta Space, Sofia (2022), and others.

Stella Vasileva works in the field of object, installation and drawing. She explores form and objects in space, with her main goal being to free objects from any superfluous elements, while taking them out of the context of their concrete (everyday) environment. In this way, she often erases the boundaries of real space.
