TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR TICKET SALES AND ATTENDANCE OF SOFIA ART FAIR 2026
SECTION I. GENERAL PROVISIONS AND IDENTIFICATION
Art. 1. (1) These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) constitute a legally binding agreement between the “Sofia Disha” Foundation, UIC 176472079, with its registered office and management address in the Republic of Bulgaria, village of Bistritsa, 4 Kapina Str. (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”), and any person (referred to as the “Client” or “Visitor”) who purchases a ticket or visits the international contemporary art fair Sofia Art Fair 2026.
(2) The Event shall take place from October 8 to October 11, 2026, in Sofia, Republic of Bulgaria, at the “Sofia Tech Park” territory (hereinafter referred to as the “Event”).
(3) Ticket sales are conducted online through the specialized system at: https://sofiaartfair.art/tickets/ and its alias: https://tickets.sofiaartfair.art/. These addresses are an integral part of the official website: https://sofiaartfair.art/.
(4) By placing an order and paying for a ticket, the Client declares that they are familiar with these General Terms and Conditions, accept them unreservedly, and undertake to comply with them.
SECTION II. CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SERVICE AND PURCHASE PROCESS
Art. 2. (1) The subject of the contract is the provision of the right of access to the Event against payment.
(2) The ticket is an electronic document (PDF) containing a unique identification QR code, which serves to verify the validity of the ticket and for access control.
(3) The purchase process is conducted online and does not require the creation of a user profile.
(4) The purchase of a ticket is carried out through the following steps:
Ticket Selection: The Client selects the desired ticket type from the page https://sofiaartfair.art/tickets/, where available ticket types and validity information are listed.
Quantity Selection: The Client specifies the number of tickets they wish to purchase.
Add to Order: Selected tickets are added to the virtual cart via the “Add to Order” button.
Filling in Order Data: The Client enters necessary details, including: name, email, phone, and billing address. The Client must also enter the first and last names of the ticket holders.
Issuing a Tax Invoice: If a tax invoice is requested, the relevant corporate data must be completed.
Order Confirmation: The order is confirmed via the “Order” button, after which the system redirects the Client to the secure payment page.
SECTION III. PRICES
Art. 3. (1) All prices are final, indicated in Euro (EUR), and include VAT where applicable.
(2) The Organizer reserves the right to change ticket prices at any time; however, such changes shall not affect tickets already purchased.
SECTION IV. PAYMENT AND SECURITY
Art. 4. (1) Payment is made solely via bank card (debit or credit) in a remote payment mode.
(2) The payment system utilizes API integration with Fibank.bg.
(3) All bank card data is processed entirely by the payment operator. The Organizer does not collect, process, or store information regarding card numbers, CVC codes, or expiration dates.
(4) The transaction is considered complete only after confirmation of successful authorization from the servicing bank.
SECTION V. DELIVERY AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Art. 5. (1) Upon successful payment, the Client receives the ticket in two ways:
Via a direct download link on the “Successful Order” page.
Via an automated email message with the PDF ticket attached.
(2) Each ticket contains a unique QR code.
(3) The Organizer shall not be held liable for ticket duplication resulting from the Client’s actions, including copying, forwarding, or public sharing.
(4) If an email is not received within 30 minutes of purchase, the Client should check the Spam folder before contacting technical support.
SECTION VI. VALIDITY AND USE OF TICKETS
Art. 6. (1) The ticket grants the right of access to the Event according to its type.
(2) One-day tickets grant the right to a single entry to the event on the respective day.
(3) Weekend tickets grant the right to a single entry for each of the two days for which they are valid.
(4) Three-day tickets grant the right to a single entry for each of the three days of the event.
(5) Each QR code can be used only once for the respective day.
(6) Access to the event is granted to the person who first presents a valid QR code.
(7) The ticket holder is responsible for its safekeeping and for preventing unauthorized use.
SECTION VII. RULES OF CONDUCT
Art. 7. (1) By entering the Event territory, every Visitor undertakes to comply with the following rules:
Touching the exhibited works of art is prohibited unless explicitly permitted.
Photography is allowed for personal use only and without the use of flash, tripods, or professional equipment.
Bringing bulky backpacks, suitcases, and objects that may endanger the exhibits is prohibited.
Consumption of food and beverages is permitted only in designated areas.
Pets are not allowed, with the exception of guide dogs.
Parents bear full responsibility for the behavior of accompanying children.
(2) The Organizer has the right to refuse access or remove a visitor who violates the rules or creates a security risk.
(3) In such cases, the ticket price is non-refundable.
(4) Visitors must also comply with the internal rules of “Sofia Tech Park”.
SECTION VIII. WITHDRAWAL, EXCHANGE, AND REFUNDS
Art. 8. (1) Pursuant to Art. 57, item 12 of the Consumer Protection Act, purchased tickets for events with a fixed date are not subject to refund or exchange.
(2) In the event of the Event’s cancellation, the Organizer will announce the refund terms through official communication channels.
(3) Refund Procedure in Case of Cancellation: In the cases specified in para. 2, the refund of the price of the purchased tickets shall be carried out subject to the following conditions:
Application: The Buyer is obligated to send a written refund request to the Organizer’s official email address, as specified on the website, within 14 days of the announcement of the cancellation.
Payment Method: Refunds shall be processed solely via the same banking channel used for the original payment. Funds will be transferred to the bank account from which the payment for the ticket purchase originated. The Organizer shall not be held liable if the account is closed or inactive at the time of the transfer.
Timeframe: The Organizer undertakes to refund the amounts within 3 (three) weeks upon receipt of a valid application and verification of the authenticity of the purchased ticket.
Scope: Only the face value (nominal value) of the ticket is refundable. Additional fees (transaction fees, courier services, bank commissions, etc.) are non-refundable.
(4) Change of Event Date: In the event that the Event is not cancelled but its date is changed (rescheduled for a future moment), the following rules shall apply:
Validity: All purchased tickets remain automatically valid for the new date without the need for re-validation or any further action by the ticket holders.
Non-refundability: A change of date shall not be considered a cancellation of the event. In such cases, paid amounts are not subject to refund, unless the Organizer explicitly announces otherwise at its sole discretion for a specific case.
Notification: Buyers shall be deemed notified of the new date upon its publication via the Organizer’s official communication channels.
(5) The Organizer is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by visitors, including transport, accommodation, or other services.
SECTION IX. CHANGES TO THE PROGRAM
Art. 9. (1) The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to: the program, participants, exhibitors, event hours, and other organizational elements.
(2) Such changes do not constitute grounds for a refund of the ticket price.
SECTION X. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Art. 10. (1) The Organizer is not responsible for technical problems in the Client’s internet connectivity.
(2) The Organizer is not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings. (3) During the event, photo and video recording may be performed for promotional and archival purposes.
SECTION XI. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
Art. 11. (1) The “Sofia Disha” Foundation is a personal data controller.
(2) Data is processed in accordance with the GDPR and is used solely for: ticket sales, issuance of financial documents, and communication regarding the event.
SECTION XII. ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS
Art. 12. (1) For all matters not settled herein, the current Bulgarian legislation shall apply.
(2) All disputes shall be resolved through negotiations, and if no agreement is reached, by the competent court in the city of Sofia.
These General Terms and Conditions were approved by the Organizer on March 6, 2026.
