Code of Conduct
By visiting or participating in Sofia Art Fair 2026, all individuals agree to abide by these Rules of Conduct.
Respectful and Safe Environment
Sofia Art Fair encourages open dialogue and cultural exchange in an environment of mutual respect.
All participants are expected to behave in a manner that:
• respects other visitors and participants
• creates a safe and comfortable environment
• encourages cultural exchange and professional dialogue
Discrimination, harassment or aggressive behavior based on:
• gender
• age
• ethnic origin
• religion
• sexual orientation
• physical abilities
• nationality
• or other personal characteristics is not permitted.
Expected Behavior
All visitors and participants are expected to:
• show respect for other participants
• follow the instructions of the organizers and security personnel
• respect the exhibited works of art
• behave in a manner that does not disrupt the conduct of the event.
Unacceptable Behavior
The following actions are not permitted during the Sofia Art Fair:
• aggressive or threatening behavior
• verbal or physical harassment
• discrimination or offensive remarks
• intentional damage to works of art or property
• behavior that poses a risk to the safety of others
• violation of the rules of the event or venue.
Protection of works of art
Visitors must comply with all instructions relating to the protection of the exhibited works.
In general:
• works of art must not be touched unless expressly stated to be permitted
• a safe distance must be maintained from the exhibits
• conduct that could endanger the works is not permitted.
Photography and filming
Photography is permitted for personal use only, unless otherwise stated.
Not permitted:
• use of flash
• use of tripods or professional equipment
• filming for commercial purposes without prior permission from the organizer.
Compliance with venue rules
All visitors must comply with the safety rules and procedures of Sofia Tech Park, where the event is held.
Enforcement of the Code of Conduct
The organizer reserves the right to take the necessary action in case of violation of these Code of Conduct.
This may include:
• warning
• denial of access
• removal from the event
In such cases, the value of the purchased ticket is not subject to refund.
Reporting violations
If you witness behavior that violates these Code of Conduct, please notify:
• the event information booth
or
• a member of the organizational team.
All reports will be treated with due care and confidentiality.
