The Sofia Breathes Foundation has shaped Sofia’s cultural scene for over 15 years, creating unforgettable experiences and supporting countless artists in their creative journeys. We’re the team behind some of the city’s most exciting cultural events, including Sofia Breathes, the most significant urban festival that transformed streets into open-air galleries of art, music, literature, and social initiatives from 2010 to 2017.

Beyond festivals, we’ve launched projects like "Zona Cultura" and the "Culture Develops Cities" conference, always believing that culture isn’t just about entertainment—it’s a driving force for education, fine living, and social well-being.

At our core, we’re passionate about helping artists thrive, providing platforms to share their work, connect with new audiences, and grow their careers. Through our projects, we’ve reached more than 200,000 people, developing the public’s curiosity to seek out culture and the arts.
