Sofia Art Fair 2024 presents Station Contemporary Art Gallery – Marek Kvetan, and Tomáš Klepoch.
Station Contemporary Art Gallery is an exhibition space of white cube character, near Petržalka railway station in Bratislava, Slovakia. The gallery brings together domestic and foreign contemporary art and presents established artists as well as young emerging artists in Slovakia and abroad.
Marek Kvetan (*1976, Slovakia) lives and works in Bratislava. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, where he gradually passed through the Sculpture Studio under the direction of Juraj Bartusz (1995 – 1999) and the Painting Studio under the direction of Daniel Fischer (1999 – 2001). In 1999 he completed a study stay at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Brno University of Technology, where he worked at the Department of Multimedia-Performance-Video under the direction of Keiko Sei.
Tomáš Klepoch (*1981, Slovakia) Tomáš Klepoch (*1981, Slovakia) graduated in the studio of graphics and other media and in the studio of visual communication at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, Slovakia. He works in printmaking and illustration, creating objects and installations in public space. He has exhibited his works in domestic and foreign galleries, and participates in international exhibitions focusing on graphic art.
