Sofia Art Fair 2024 presents Print Nest, Zoran Mishe, Ivan Mateev, Vasil Angelov, Goran Trickovski, and Pavel Celkoski.
Print Nest is a studio where artists in love with graphics are gathered. The studio have collected different characters, people with different abilities and attitudes towards life, but with a common starting point. With the traditional graphic techniques they use, they create shapes and spaces, states, thoughts and feelings.
Zoran Mishe (1984, Ohrid, North Macedonia) graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts with a degree in Graphic Arts 2007/2012. He works in the world of classical printmaking and says – “I really hope to show that the seemingly provincial, esoteric operations of printmaking actually work at the very heart of some of the most prominent modern and contemporary art in various media and environments.”
Ivan Mateev (1988, Sofia, Bulgaria) graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts -2013/2015. Participated in most national and international triennials, biennials symposiums for printmaking. Winner of significant graphic awards.
Vasil Angelov (1987, Sofia, Bulgaria) graduated from the National Academy of Arts, Graphic Arts 2010/2012 – from 2022 “Doctor” in the professional field “Fine Arts” and the scientific specialty “Visual Arts”. Vasil is one of the most active and dedicated artists in the field of graphic arts, specializing in the technique of mezzotint.
Goran Trichkovsi (1987, Delchevo, North Macedonia). He is one of the founders of PRINT NEST STUDIO. Participated in a number of national and international printmaking competitions.
Pavel Celkosi (1987, Ohrid, North Macedonia) graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts with a degree in graphics in 2012 and is also one of the founders of PRINT NEST STUDIO. Pavel works in the field of gravure (drypoint) but is also a TATTOO artist in one of the oldest studios in Sofia.
