Sofia Art Fair 2024 presents KO-OP – Miroslav Zhivkov – Dzhingibi and Boris Pramatarov.
KO-OP is a leading cultural organisation that has been a dynamic force in the Bulgarian art scene since its inception in 2018. They curate an annual program of exhibitions that not only support artists but also provides a platform for innovation and experimentation. Their commitment to alternative education is reflected in their diverse initiatives, including workshops and peer-to-peer learning opportunities.
Miroslav Zhivkov was born in 1993 in Gabrovo. In 2016 he graduated from the National Academy of Arts in Sofia with a degree in Poster and Visual Communication. In 2021 he participated in the National Autumn Exhibitions in Plovdiv. He is the founder of NoPoint Atelier, a shared screen printing and risograph studio in s. Balanite, Gabrovo, where he welcomes artists from all over the world.
Boris Pramatarov is a Bulgarian visual artist who lives in Brussels, Belgium. He was born in Sofia in 1989. He has a bachelor’s degree in Book and Graphic Arts from the National Art Academy, Sofia and master’s degree (distinction) from the Royal Academy in Ghent, Belgium. He is also the founder of the illustration and tattoo studio “The Dinosaur and the Fairy”, Brussels.
