Kalin Mihov

Sofia Art Fair 2024 presents Kalin Mihov.

Kalin Mihov, born 1995, is an artist working in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree at VTU “St. St. Cyril and Methodius”, majoring in Mural painting in 2021. He did an internship as a technologist in a glass studio at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto and an internship at the Heerz Tooya gallery (Veliko Tarnovo) in 2022-2023. His artistic practice is closely related to and in dialogue with the rural landscape which is the preferred place for his installations, actions or performances. Since 2022, he is part of Duppini Art Group, organiser of International Gabrovtsi ART-NATURE Symposium, a forum that gives local and international artists the opportunity to create in the fields of land art, site-specific and nature art in the village of Gabrovtsi, Veliko Tarnovo.
