Giulia Caruso & Simona Krasteva

Sofia Art Fair 2024 presents Giulia Caruso and Simona Krasteva.

Giulia’s work is divided between artistic productions, creative directions, and commissions from private clients. She creates medium/large format works inspired by contemporary Pop and Surrealist art, through the use of vibrant and complementary colours, which she combines with pencil portraits characterised by watercolour knobs positioned on the cheeks, to bring back a childish trait contained in each of us. Her other techniques are markers, inks, acrylics, and the use of resin with which she gives a unique shine to his works.

Simona Krasteva is an art dealer. She has lived and worked in London and Paris. Simona specialises in media, art, and fashion. For the past three years, she has been an author and TV host of the show “Art Detective” on the National Television of Bulgaria, focusing on art and culture. In 2022, she partnered with the National Gallery to digitise art and create an educational program aimed at a younger audience. She was nominated by Forbes 30 under 30 in the art, media, and culture category in 2022 and has received numerous awards for her contribution to culture and the popularisation of contemporary art in Bulgaria.
