Ana Kostova

Sofia Art Fair 2024 presents Ana Kostova.

Ana Kostova, born 1995 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, currently lives and works in Hamburg, Germany. Her works have been exhibited in solo exhibitions in Kiel, Sofia, and Hamburg, and she has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Bulgaria, Germany, and the Czech Republic. As an artist with a conceptual approach to painting, Ana Kostova explores and challenges the notion of two-dimensionality, striving to occupy spaces with her abstract sculptures and colourful wall reliefs, inspired by historical models and architectural forms.
